Each August we host an internal food drive to restock our shelves from the busy summer months. We also hold a contest between churches/businesses to see who can collect the most poundage of food and win the famed "Canned Trophy". For the past two years Trinity Baptist Church as collected the most food. To find out more on this food drive, please visit http://www.thecornertable.org/parade-of-cans/.
Each year during the Soldier's Reunion Cruisin' we open as a diner and raise money toward our mission. As long as the reunion is still in action, we plan to open! More details to come soon.

The Eastern Catawba County Hunger Walk is a community event benefiting the Eastern Catawba Cooperative Christian Ministry, Inc. and The Corner Table Soup Kitchen. The goals of this three-mile walk are to raise funds for hunger relief efforts in eastern Catawba County and to raise awareness of the hunger issue in our community. Your participation will ensure ECCCM and The Corner Table can keep feeding the 20% of families living with food insecurity in eastern Catawba County.
You can participate in multiple ways: walk, donate, and/or sponsor.
Awards are presented for the largest team and top fundraiser!
If you would like to support the event but don't want to walk you can become a Spirit Walker by simply making a donation, signifying you're with us in spirit on the day of the event. You can also sponsor the event. Sponsorship opportunities are offered at multiple levels with differing benefits. This is a great opportunity for your employer, church, civic group, etc. to make an impact on the community and get their name out!

If you are a citizen, church member, or business with a heart for seeing Catawba County NC flourish, we invite you to a life changing experience! After enjoying breakfast, you will be taken on a tour of 9 local agencies and hear speakers from a dozen more who serve children and adults in a multitude of ways. You will see firsthand how non-profit agencies serve our citizens by meeting their physical needs for housing, food, clothing but even more through their services of advocacy, education, enrichment activities, and health.
